Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future
The FGGC Owerri Alumni SoCal Chapter is more than just a network—it’s a sisterhood built on shared experiences, lifelong friendships, and a deep sense of purpose. As graduates of one of Nigeria’s top schools of our day, we carry with us the values of excellence, resilience, and unity that FGGC Owerri instilled in us. Our chapter is dedicated to keeping those bonds strong, supporting one another, and giving back to the school that shaped us. Through mentorship, charity initiatives, and community events, we honor our legacy by empowering the next generation of young women.
To promote unity and progress of FGGC Owerri, our alma mater, and foster a thriving community and relationships among its alumnae living in Southern California.
To support, encourage, and strengthen our fellowship and sisterhood. We seek to cultivate a vibrant community and leverage the skills, resources, and relationships represented in our chapter for the greater good of our members, the community, and our alma mater.
Our alumni chapter is a home away from home, bringing together old classmates and new friends. Through reunions, networking events, and social gatherings, we create opportunities to relive cherished memories, strengthen bonds, and support one another in every stage of life.
We are committed to making a difference in the lives of current students by giving back to FGGC Owerri. From funding school renovations to providing scholarships and mentorship programs, we strive to ensure that future generations receive the same quality education and opportunities that shaped us.
As a sisterhood, we uplift and inspire each other. Whether it’s guiding young alumni in their careers, offering support during life’s challenges, or providing mentorship to students, we believe in the power of women helping women to reach new heights.
